Josh Putterman is a transportation executive with broad management experience and a career of equal parts in finance, operations, strategy development, and relationship management. Prior to co-founding Bluejay Advisors, he spent 22 years in the railroad industry working at CSX Transportation, a Class I publicly-traded freight railroad, and in the short line railroad industry at RailAmerica, a company that was taken private by a private equity firm and subsequently went public.
Josh is a deal maker and experienced negotiator with customers and counterparties of varied size and motivation and a recognized industry leader, able to energize teams and improve processes. Josh is an experienced strategic thinker, able to clearly define, communicate and solve complicated issues. He has created partnerships with industry peer companies, customers, and government entities, from federal agencies to states and municipalities. Additionally, he has lead several teams that successfully developed and ingrained technology solutions to business problems, saving millions of dollars.

Billy Hart is a transportation executive with decades of experience in owning, operating, buying, and selling transportation and logistics companies. Prior to co-founding Bluejay Advisors, he was a successful entrepreneur starting and managing companies within transportation, financial services, and real estate.
After working with multi-national consulting firms in Washington, DC, Billy developed an investor group to acquire a distressed transportation company in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1995. As CEO/Owner of Hart Transportation, he grew the company to several terminals throughout the Southeast. Billy and Hart Transportation received numerous awards including Fastest Growing Private Company, as recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine before selling to a public transportation and logistics company in 2012.
Billy co-founded Bluejay Advisors in 2013 after decades of senior leadership experience within the transportation and logistics industry to help clients achieve maximum value for their life’s work.
Billy is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.

Eric Heath is a seasoned M&A professional with more than a decade of experience specializing in the transportation and healthcare sectors. His impressive track record includes more than 20 successful transactions that created industry-recognized impact. In addition to his M&A advisory experience, Eric is an entrepreneur—having founded his own company, a socially responsible used car dealership providing affordable financing and reliable transportation for credit-challenged individuals.
With a keen eye for efficiency and execution, Eric is adept at process improvement and workflow enhancement. This expertise allows him to streamline M&A processes and ensure smooth transactions and optimal outcomes for all parties. As a former operator, Eric has demonstrated exceptional skills in raising capital, leading corporate restructurings, and managing high-performance teams. His hands-on experience provides valuable insight into operational challenges and opportunities, enhancing his effectiveness with M&A transactions.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business with an emphasis in Finance from Belmont University.

Don Lynn is a transportation veteran with more than 30 years of experience leading transportation companies and the American Trucking Associations (ATA) with a consistent track record of revenue growth and expense management.
His transportation career began at Roadway Express where he spent 13 years in Sales and Operations Management. He went on to serve as Executive Vice President of AMX Transportation where he successfully led two acquisition teams—more than doubling the company’s size in each acquisition. In Don’s role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing with the ATA, his focus on overall revenue growth led to a strategic reorganization of the Sales and Marketing department to combine all sources of revenue into one operating group.
Don utilizes his deep expertise in the transportation industry to identify and address clients’ specific needs and objectives, driving tailored solutions that help them achieve their desired outcomes. By fostering strong, collaborative relationships, Don positions the Bluejay team to deliver results that meet and exceed client goals.
Don is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences.
Vice President of Business Development, North America
Reid Stack is an experienced financial professional who brings nearly 10 years of extensive experience in M&A and management consulting to the Bluejay team. Throughout his career, he has been directly involved in more than 35 transactions within the transportation and logistics sector. His background includes a diverse range of experiences, from executing lower-middle market transactions to navigating complex challenges for founder-owned companies, private equity firms, and lending institutions.
Reid’s journey with Bluejay began as an intern, providing him with a unique perspective and deep understanding of the team’s operations and culture. His background includes years of onsite management consulting experience within the T&L sector, specifically, performance improvement, turnaround management, acquisition diligence, and post-transaction integration.
Reid offers a distinguished skill set that includes financial and operational analysis, performance improvement, and creative problem solving. He provides clients with strategic value through his expertise and execution of all aspects of sell-side, buy-side, and divestiture processes, including client sourcing and pitching, strategy and process execution, market positioning, due diligence oversight, and contract negotiation.

Tucker Mills is an experienced finance professional with more than eight years of M&A advisory and corporate finance experience, specializing in the transportation and utilities sectors. Prior to joining Bluejay, he held roles in capital planning and operating budget support at CSX, the largest railroad in the eastern U.S., and JEA, one of the largest municipal utilities in the U.S.
Tucker brings exceptional financial and operational analysis skills, diligent problem-solving, and strategic insights to Bluejay’s M&A processes, ensuring successful client outcomes.
Tucker earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Florida State University College of Business.

Elizabeth Bower is a results-driven editor, writer, and project manager dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals. With extensive experience in academic and technical writing, as well as more than eight years as an educator, she excels at transforming complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that deliver measurable outcomes.
Specializing in Federal and state grant application processes, Elizabeth has guided clients through intricate requirements to develop comprehensive application packages. Her efforts have directly contributed to securing nearly $30 million in transportation and infrastructure funding for her clients. Beyond grant writing, Elizabeth leverages her technical expertise and creative design skills to strengthen the Bluejay brand and expand its reach through strategic outreach initiatives.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and American Studies from Purdue University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida.

Oliver Lopez is a financial professional with more than three years of M&A advisory experience. He has supported the closing of more than three transactions and more than $125 million in enterprise value.
Oliver works closely with business owners and management teams on sell-side transactions from engagement through closing. He provides comprehensive transaction support, including financial and operational analysis, due diligence, and process management, ensuring a successful outcome that maximizes value for clients.
Oliver earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with Summa Cum Laude distinction from the University of North Florida.

Miguel Saltijeral is an investment banking professional with one year of experience as a full-time Investment Banking Analyst. Prior to joining Bluejay, Miguel advised on both sell-side and buy-side transactions, as well as capital raising mandates for privately held companies. He gained valuable experience in cross-border transactions across various sectors, including industrials, business services, and technology. Additionally, Miguel completed internships at private equity firms in Dallas, Texas, and Monterrey, Mexico.
Miguel brings strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities to his role, along with expertise in market and industry research. He has comprehensive experience in transaction execution and offers an international outlook with a deep understanding of the business environment, particularly in the U.S.-Mexico market.
