Bluejay Role: Bluejay Advisors performed operational diligence while leading contract negotiations for the 21st short line railroad added to the portfolio of a large family office. This a challenged line, formerly in bankruptcy, and Bluejay helped craft an agreement that suited the 4 departing town-father owners.

Client Description: OmniTRAX, Inc is one of North America’s largest private railroad and transportation management companies with interests in railroads, terminals, ports and industrial real estate. OmniTRAX operates a network of 21 regional and short line railroads that cover 12 states in the US and 3 provinces in Canada.

The Heart of Texas Railroad is currently known as the Central Texas and Colorado River Railway. The Heart of Texas Railroad was organized in 2012 and covers 67.5 miles of terrain in Brady, Texas.
