Bluejay Advisors assists Regional Rail with winning RFP Application

Bluejay Advisors assisted Regional Rail with its successful RFP application to operate and maintain the railroad at Port Manatee, a Florida port located on Tampa Bay in Manatee County. Bluejay worked alongside Regional Rail to complete the extensive application which included performing detailed analyses of Regional Rail’s current operations and expansion plans at the port and carefully crafting a narrative resulting in the receipt of a long-term contract. The agreement includes a 15-year initial operating term as well as three possible renewal terms of 5 years each. Regional Rail, LLC, a Kennett Square, Pennsylvania-based short line holding company, operates seven railroads in the eastern U.S.
