On December 6th Senator Collins announced that MaineDOT has been awarded a $11,027,500 federal grant through the BUILD program formerly known as TIGER. The Bluejay Advisors team partnered with MaineDOT to complete the Western Gateways Project grant submission. This the fifth USDOT grant that has been awarded to MaineDOT with Bluejay Advisors assistance, for a total of $57,327,500. The most recent grant will be used “to repair, resurface, improve drainage, and enhance pedestrian safety to a network of three key roadways in three rural towns: Kingfield, Woodstock, and Fryeburg. MDOT will increase the safety of these roads for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians and provide access to rural retail, commerce, employment centers, shipping routes, and recreation points critical to the economy.”
