Senator Susan Collins recently announced that MaineDOT has been awarded a $10,836,220 Federal TIGER grant. The Bluejay Advisors team partnered with MaineDOT to complete this grant submission. This the fourth USDOT grant that has been awarded to MaineDOT with Bluejay Advisors assistance, for a total of $46,300,000. The most recent grant will be used to replace three highway bridges that are either structurally deficient, in a fracture critical condition or both. Located in rural Piscataquis and Penobscot Counties, these bridges are essential components of the local transportation infrastructure as potential detours could add up to 100 miles to each one-way trip.
