James Samuelsen Promoted to Partner with Bluejay Capital

Bluejay Capital Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of James Samuelsen to Partner.

Since joining Bluejay in 2019, James has been instrumental in shaping the trajectory of Bluejay Capital Partners into a leading lower middle market private equity firm focused in Transportation and Logistics. Based in Denver, CO, James has led a number of acquisitions within the firm’s portfolio and sits on the board of Pacific West Environmental and Infrastructure.

Prior to Bluejay, James spent time leading M&A and Corporate Development at OmniTRAX, a short line railroad holding company. James is also Treasurer and Grant Review Chair at Denver Children’s Foundation, an organization which grants over $1.5m annually into the local community for at-risk and disadvantaged youth.
