Bluejay Advisors developed the application for the Federal grant on behalf of the State of Maine Department of Transportation. The $44 million grant will help fund Phase II of the Presque Isle Bypass, an $84 million road through rural northern Maine. The bypass will allow traffic, especially trucks, to avoid downtown Presque Isle–improving traffic flow, safety and the condition of downtown infrastructure. This will clear the way for Presque Isle to implement sustainable and active transportation improvements downtown.
